First Edition: Helping Women Victims of Abuse

The first edition of Voices of Verticals will focus on supporting women victims of abuse — a theme that deeply resonates with fans of Vertical Drama Series. Too often, these stories romanticize control, manipulation, or violence against women. As fans and creatives, we believe storytelling should empower, not harm. This edition turns that shared frustration into action, helping real women rebuild their lives through trusted organizations across the USA, Canada, the UK, and Australia.

Violence against women remains one of the most widespread human rights violations worldwide — and the numbers are alarming:

Behind every statistic is a woman whose story deserves to be heard. By uniting our voices through this event, we can help raise awareness, fund life-saving resources, and challenge the normalization of abuse in media and beyond.

This first edition, planned for early 2026, will align with International Women’s Day (March 8) — turning a weekend of entertainment into a weekend of empowerment. Through live discussions, creative collaborations, and community support, Voices of Verticals aims to prove that fandom can be a force for good. Together, we can celebrate the stories we love while helping to rewrite real ones — with hope, strength, and solidarity.
